14 km Run

Starting at Dee Why Beach and finishing at Newport Beach, this scenic 14km course showcases the stunning Northern Beaches of Sydney.

The run begins on the sand at Dee Why Beach, but don’t worry—after about 50 meters, the route transitions to firm surface with a few short stretches of grass for the rest of the course. From there, the course loops around Dee Why Lagoon, runs alongside Collaroy Beach, and skirts the picturesque Narrabeen Lake before merging with the 6km runners at Rat Park. You will enjoy breathtaking ocean views as you continue past Turimetta and Warriewood beaches, cross the Mona Vale Golf Course and join the 3km runners who start at Mona Vale Beach. In the last kilometres you tackle the challenging Barrenjoey Road hill. The race finishes at Newport Beach, where a family-friendly festival awaits, featuring live music, kids’ entertainment, and a variety of food stalls.
