Mounties Group Half Marathon

A Serious Course For Avid Runners

Scenic Half Marathon presented by Mounties Group – Dee Why Beach to Newport Beach

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Sydney’s Northern Beaches in this scenic half marathon, starting at Dee Why Beach and finishing at Newport Beach.

Since 1994, the Beach2Beach, formerly Pub2Pub has successfully grown to an event of over 5000 participants.

The Mounties Group Half Marathon begins in Dee Why, heading south along Curl Curl Beach before looping around The Harbord Diggers on Freshwater Headland, offering stunning ocean views all the way to Palm Beach. The course then returns towards Dee Why, taking runners over the headland with panoramic vistas of Dee Why and Long Reef beaches.

Continuing north, the route loops around Dee Why Lagoon, follows the coastline past Collaroy Beach, and skirts the picturesque Narrabeen Lake before passing Rat Park where the 6km runners will start once you have passed. Along the way, you’ll take in breathtaking ocean views as you pass Turimetta and Warriewood beaches, cross the Mona Vale Golf Course to Mona Vale Beach.

In the final stretch, you will tackle the challenging Barrenjoey Road hill before reaching the finish line at Newport Beach. Here, a vibrant, family-friendly festival awaits, featuring live music, kids’ entertainment, and a variety of food stalls.

Note: This event is for avid runners 16 years or older. We advise registering only if you can complete the first 7 km within 70 minutes. Due to road closures, the cut-off time for the first 7 km is strictly 70 minutes after your start. After the Dee Why 7km mark, you can run a slower pace if you wish.
