A Personnel Mission

June 26, 2019

Peninsula Personnel is a classic example of why local businesses should use the Pub2Pub for team bonding with fellow staff members, catching up outside the office and for promoting fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

The company was launched by Lisa Bousfield in 1995, after she identified a need for a Northern Beaches-based job agency that matched local talent with local businesses. “Part of the company philosophy as the business has grown is to give back to the community”, says Lisa. “One way we do that is to support local organisations and institutions, among which is the iconic community fundraising event that is the Pub2Pub Charity Fun Run & Festival.

“In fact, a Peninsula Personnel Team has taken part in the Pub2Pub every year since 2008… and as individuals, several of us have been participating longer than that – right back to when it was actually run between two pubs.”

The Peninsula Personnel Team all live locally, love the Northern Beaches and enjoy giving back to their community. After 24 years, the business has grown, but it remains a privately-owned boutique agency with an ever-expanding stable of local job seekers and local employers. The company’s dedicated team has been handpicked for their extensive expertise, strong local knowledge and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a friendly, positive and down-to-earth attitude. (No wonder they’re Pub2Pub people!)

A three-time winner in the Northern Beaches Local Business Awards, Peninsula Personnel won the title of ‘Most Outstanding Business on the Beaches’ in 2014 and are finalists again this year (fingers crossed).

While most members of this year’s Team are running the full 13km distance option, one staff member will be running with her two children in the 3km event and another is running with his niece and nephew over the 6km course from Warriewood. Good luck to the ‘PP Team’ in this year’s ‘P2P’!
